Our lab also maintains a ~350 sq ft fish room within the Aquatic Facility of the Life Sciences Building. This room houses our cichlid fish colony, recirculating filtration and monitoring system, and contains a separate room for conducting behavioral experiments.

The Maruska Laboratory

Neural Mechanisms of Behavior • Hormones and Sensory Processing • Sensory, Behavioral and Neural Plasticity
The Maruska lab is housed within the Department of Biologicial Sciences located in the Life Sciences Building on the Baton Rouge campus of Louisiana State University. The ~1300 sq ft lab is divided into two separate areas: 1) molecular, histological, computer work station, and general laboratory space, and 2) microscopy and neurophysiology recording rooms.
